We are excited to invite you to attend our ‘KSPS Kids’ playgroup sessions! Each sports house group has been allocated an hourly session each Friday, continuing over 8 weeks. Please check the timetable below carefully as your child’s session times will vary week to week.
On arrival, please enter the gate near the Early Intervention room where our sessions will be held (Gate 3). Here you can sign in, assist your child in getting a name tag and encourage them to join the teachers and other children for outdoor activities. If you are able to leave your child at the commencement of the session, we ask that you please do so and return to pick them up at the end of the session. Due to social distancing regulations for adults we are unfortunately not able to have parents participate in the activities as we have in previous years. We are aware that some children may require their familiar adult to stay with them to allow them to settle in and we will provide some distanced outdoor seating for those needing it.
Children should wear clothes suitable for outdoor play. We encourage your child to wear a hat and bring along a water bottle and lunchbox with a snack to have during the session.
We know that families have many commitments, however we hope that you are able to organise for your child to come along to playgroup. The sessions will provide valuable opportunities for them to familiarise themselves with the school environment, get to know the Kindergarten teachers and make connections with their peers.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our respects to the elders both past, present and future. For they hold the memories, traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal Australia. We must always remember that under the concrete and asphalt, this land is, was and will always be traditional Aboriginal land.
