The Kotara South P&C Gardens and Grounds Group was formed by a small team of parents who saw a need to assist the school in the maintenance and enhancement of the schools outdoor environments.
The group is a link between the school and parents for the creation of natural spaces, outdoor art, and environmental initiatives.
The volunteers undertake activities once a term and all families and community members are invited to assist with general gardening activities including weeding, mulching and planting as well as development of new spaces.
Our aim is to assist the students, staff and parents in achieving a sustainable and pleasing environment in which to learn and grow.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our respects to the elders both past, present and future. For they hold the memories, traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal Australia. We must always remember that under the concrete and asphalt, this land is, was and will always be traditional Aboriginal land.
