Events and Fundraising

We organise and run a variety of fundraising activities each year. Through fundraising, the P&C is able to contribute to the school in a number of ways. This includes the provision of learning resources, leadership and life education programs, presentation awards, and gardening and sporting equipment. To see a summary of what we have been able to provide for KSPS in the past, visit our General Information page.

Some of our events are major fundraisers, some are minor fundraisers, and other events are not fundraisers at all.  We hope that all of our events contribute to enriching our school in some way or another. For example, our Mother’s and Father’s Day Stalls, which aren’t major fundraisers, are much loved by our students. These stalls offer students a chance to exercise their independence and learn about spending money, including calculating change and making their own decisions. Similarly, participating in Book Club doesn’t earn us money, but rather Scholastic credit. We use this credit to buy resources for our school, such as books and other learning materials.
