The KSPS P&C Gardens and Grounds Group was formed by a small team of parents who saw a need to assist the school in the maintenance and enhancement our school grounds.
The Gardens and Grounds Group joins parents and carers with KSPS for the creation of natural spaces, outdoor art, and environmental initiatives. The group’s aim is to assist KSPS students, staff, and parents in achieving a sustainable and pleasing environment in which to learn and grow.
Our volunteers undertake activities once a term for a few hours. All families and community members are invited to assist with general gardening activities, such as weeding, mulching and planting as well as development of new spaces.
We call for volunteers to join us at G&G working bees via KSPS P&C Facebook page. As per all of our calls for any and all volunteers, you don’t need to be a P&C member to participate (although, we welcome everyone to join!).
